Abstract


Strontium Bismuth Tantalate (SrBi2Ta2O9) was synthesized by a co-precipitation technique and characterized by X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy and dielectric measurements. The powder was synthesized from aqueous solution of Bi(NO3)3, Sr(NO3)2 and TaO5 by a precipitation in a strong alkaline solution.
