Monthly reports of activities and registers of maternity service produced during the period of 2016 to 2020 had been denuded based on the type of childbearing, age, parity and for caesarean cases, the causes of this type of childbearing. The rate of childbearing (by parturition or ceasarean) had been calculated and statistical analysis had been done by comparison of means using the Student t test, the ANOVA 1 F test and the Chi-square test. After data analysis, the following results had been obtained: the mean rates of parturition and caesarean childbearing were respectively of 89,7 % et 10,3 %; the furthering causes of high rate of caesareans at the CH Kavumu during the period of 2016 to 2020, in all ages slices confused were FSA, macrosomy, bad position, FDP, bursting and before bursting, maternal depletion and stationary work and the others causes interfere with a less incidence. Abstract: (french)
